New Scrapbook Room!

Scott and I are moving to Brunswick, GA in a little over a week! I cant believe it!

So anyways I am able to have a room to myself for my scrapbook room/guest room. I am looking for ideas of how to decorate this! I use and Expedit bookcase/desk unit from Ikea.

I want to make it girly but nice for guests. If you have any ideas please let me know!

Also, some people have commented on doing another box swap. If you are interested please let me know!

Projects I have been working on lately.....

Ok so I have been busy in the scrapbook world! Scott and I are being moved to Brunswick GA. Since we are moving, I have been working my fingers like crazy trying to finish projects before I absolutely have to pack up my scrapbook stuff!

This is my Grams at Heather's Wedding! Isn't she gorgeous?!?!?!

First, I talked to my friend Shannon at a scrapbook retreat and she wanted me to do a 6x12 distressed Disney album. So here are the pictures. Now mind you I left a LOT of blank space for her to put in pictures and notes!
 This is the front cover!

This page is for Abby Grace!

 This one is for Ethan!

I know you can't really see the stickers. But Disney has come out with this new thing called Vinylmation! It is different character and things with all the same shape: Mickey! I love it!

This pocket is a new distress paper. It is called kraft glassine. You can rip, sand, ink, paint, and it will take it. The more you distress it, the cooler it looks. It also starts as paper and after you distress it, it becomes more like leather.

My Tim Holtz Straps. I love them!
These next two are cards we are going to make at Women's Camp. I had to make them super easy for the women who have no clue about scrapbooking!

This card is made from acetate sheets. Think: Overhead projectors!
I made this mini book for my MIL.
This is awesome! This is a journal in a jar. In the jar is all types of journaling prompts and then you decorate the journal. I printed the journal prompts on scrapbook paper so that they were prettier!

I hope you all like the different projects that I have been working on! More scrap-booking and GLEE and then packing!

God Bless You All!

Michelle

New Items Finished!

So here are some of the things that I have worked on today!

This is a door hanger! Front and Back

You can clip pictures with this or it can be nailed to the wall to hang things! I love the brown/blue design!
This frame is super easy! Alcohol Inks and a cheap frame from the store. Added a flower and butterfly!
This is awesome! My first necklace on a beaded chain. Inside glass is WISH ticket on music/notes page. Has sprocket and key charm hanging on the necklace!
Another frame. Blue/Green alcohol inks and simplicity charm with teal ribbon. Cute for any occasion!

I hope you all like my newest designs! I have been busy today!

I also wanted to let any of you who are scrappers that I am hosting a box swap!

What this is: You can get a box from the post office with standard shipping (normally 12.95 for a 12*12 box) and pay for the shipping to and from. You fill the box with anything you do not use anymore of (paper, embellishments, new stuff, ribbon, etc.) and I also like to buy new things and put them in there. Things like anything Tim Holtz! Once you have your box where you want it, you then send it to me! I get all of the boxes in and repack the boxes (you receive nothing that you have sent in) and ship them with the postage you have already paid for. Everyone pays the same but gets to swap material they don't use anymore and receive new to them things!

If you are interested please email me @ eeyoremjw@me.com !

Leave your comments! I would love to know what you think!

Exciting News!

So I have been extremely busy the past couple of months! This past week we were in Austin for Officer's Councils which is a conference for The Salvation Army Ministers. I was able to go to two scrap-booking places: Archivers and Scrapology. Archivers is always a favorite as they have loads of the newest items on the market. Scrapology I just found but for those interested you can find them at www.scrapologytx.com . Currently I am working on a surprise! But I also found some cool finds. I found COPIC markers and wood paper. As soon as I figure out how to use my new stuff I will be more than happy to show you pictures!

Exciting News: I have been asked to teach two scrap-booking classes. One of them at Scrap-booking camp and the other is a card-making class at Women's Camp! I am totally excited as I am never asked to do stuff like this! Pray for me!

Current read: Has been the Yada Yada Prayer Group Series! I am on book 3! Try it! Trust Me!

Well, I am going to keep on working but for all of you out there: Keep On Scrapping!

His Grace,
Michelle
